How about something you learned from agrandparent that you have used in your everyday life One thing my Grandfather taught me was never to carry a dull pocket knife. One of the best bits of advise Ive ever had

Patience. I remember making candy with my grandmother one Christmas season. She was measuring out the corn syrup and it looked like it wasn't going to be enough. But she simply stood there holding the upturned bottle over the measuring cup until every...last...drop...had...run....out. It was just enough for the recipe and the candy turned out -- as usual -- perfect. Had she not had the patience to wait, the candy would have been ruined. Sad to say, I don't always practice what she taught me.

I had the same typr of experiance with my grandmother but she was teaching me to make biscuits. Mine where always hard and flat, she always makes the best biscuits and gravy

A lot of things . . .But there's one thing i'll never forget that my grandmother used to tell me before. "Always make goodness to other people and don't expect anything from them in return"...
