Who should Play Gabbar in sholay remake ?

yaap it's right sholay is being remade and big- b is playing the role of gaabbar in this new sholay and only time will tell whether he can justify the role as we know he is an great actor so it won't be hard for him to justify the role

yeah that true..ram gopal verma making remake of sholay.whatsoever there is no comparison and no body can make the same great movie.the character in sholay was very uniqe and i don't think superstar amitabh bacchan can justify gabbar role as aamzad khan did.i do agree that amitabh is great actor but he can't justiy role as old gabbar.those movies comes just one time in era.i seriously believe that no one heck can take old gabbar place.

I would have loved to see Amjad Khan again in Sholay! What do you say? We would really miss him.

although Amitabh can do the role, but since he played the lead role in the original Sholay already i think nana patekar should fit perfectly because of the talent he has in playing such roles.

I've also heard that the Big B will be playing Gabbar Singh's role. I will reserve judgement till I see it. Remakes are often a shadow of the original film but this could be quite an interesting experiment.
