New Interests on myLot- better or terse?

What do you think of the new myLot interests, like “products I use” and “roles I have played”? Is this broadening the palette, or just defining it better? Makes sense from a “products” discussions point of view, I think, given the amount of material we see on other interests about relish, computer chips, vegemite, and other exotic things. Admittedly I’ve got a use for “roles I have played”, because I’m trying to start a global franchise of serial pests like myself, with a view to either world domination or just being really irritating. Now... there must be some way to make that pay for itself...

I'm not a real fan of them and have yet to update my profile to even include them. I can sort of understand the products section - i mean at least then i'll stop seeing nokia phone and ipod questions in the computer/internet section. *laughs* i love your idea with serial pests ... there could be a waiting list to join though!!

I think this is better since it gives you more leeway in what you actually do. Of course, it also helps its sponsors know more about us thereby helping their sales. I think that is good since that's where the money seems to come from.

The new interest is a good place to review the products you like, but i know of a place where if you review a product they will pay you around $1.5 for sure check it out www.reviewstream.com there all these topics can be found.
