Hi, I am also a crossdresser, to anwser your questions, no, most dont like men, the vast majority are straight as an arrow. Most are very part time crossdressers only on a few times a month and have their own wardrobe, so they dont have to share their wives clothing (I couldnt fit in my wife's clothes anyway). At least in my case I would never dress in front of the kids (exept maybe on halloween). For the most part, crossdressers are very nice guys, open with their feminine side, and at least they will understand why it takes there spouse so long to get ready. Some cases they try to hide it from there g/f or wife, but to me that doesnt seem honest. :)
