the best way for you to improve is practice. and its a guaranteed success! for example, i draw stuff too, but nothing serious(like on the back of my notebook, scrap papers, etc.), and ive done so for as long as i could remember. but when i started going to college taking up fine arts, thats when the serious drawing started. i draw almost everday for long hours till my hands hurt. after a year, i saw my drawing before college, and i couldnt believe the improvement! i mean, i see my signature on them, but i still couldnt believe i drew them! though education is important too, but when it comes to drawing, practice is equally, if not more important. sorry if my response is too long! i guess, im in the mood to type today. ^_^;

U can buy books about how to improve ur drawing skills--I've seen them but the prices are quite expensive. But the most important thing is practice. Practice makes perfect =D

you can try searching however its easier if you buy books like how to draw manga. its by volume but you will improve your skills if you saw this books. I love to draw as well and though this books are quite expensive, i only buy the books that i need. or one thing is take the art books made by the famous mangaka as your referrence. Thats what i usually do to improve my skills. and i learn alot from it. ^.^
