I posted a want ad for a female certified public accountant through the sunday issue of our broadsheet two weeks ago, because it seems like these fellows don't hang up in the net often (i have also posted it thru several job finder sites). I do believe that they can easily be employed because of their "in demand" academic qualifications... but... aren't there unemployed ones here? have they all gone abroad? or are already in call centers? I wonder...

Thanks. I wonder where integrity comes in.... so sad to say i seldom see them humble as the code of ethics have always taught. Now, they only want to earn big money and has forgotten what they have taken under oath :(

I wonder if you are hiring one full time. You will really have a hard time finding one that way. Most of them get hired by the company where they have their 'on the job trainings' (ojt). So, as you can see, right after graduation, before becoming certified public accountants, most of them have jobs to hang on to already.

Accountants get hired fast. They may not be receiving huge sums for salaries but most of them have found satisfaction in their jobs. However, if you hire them on a need basis, there are many around. They will work for you during their off duty hours. There are also plenty around who have opted to put up their own offices. Since these people are self employed, they are on call - their clients are mostly small to medium businessmen.
