My karma - can´t brag!

I noticed that my karma is - bragging. As soon as I happily inform some person about something good that I have - karma takes it away from me. These things just keep on happenng again and again. Yesterday I was talking to my friend who has a lot of tickets for bad driving... I told her that I was very happy that I didnĀ“t have a single ticket for the whole year. 30 minutes after our conversation I received the most ridiculous fine - for not respecting the distance between the vehicles! Do you also have any karma?

Yes... I think we all do have some of that. But I usually see mine coming... so I don't brag. Not that it makes a difference. I told a friend in mid-january "I have not had a problem for two months. Things are going really well. Something really bad is going to happen and I am going to be hit by a ton of bricks." Sure enough... Ten days later I got hit by a ton of bricks... and I am still trying to clean up the mess.

But I thought the whole thing about karma was that you could use it as an excuse to explain away bad luck? You can just put events down to karma and then forget about it and move on. There is nothing you can do about it.

Actually, karma is a repetitive sequence of similar events. For example, every time you brag, you get punished. Or, every time you start dating, it turna out that the guy is married. Or, you get involved in some weird kind of business and lose all your money, but then after some time you get into the similar type of a mess. Karma is a path that you van't help. You know, that it's coming again, but there is nothing you can do to prevent it.
