questions

why do kids go through a phase in asking lots of questions? especially why this and why that?

Kids want to make sense of the world, hence the 20 questions. To some of us adults, it may seem like "just a game" or naughtiness on their part. But to them, it's serious---they want to understand and to get affirmation.

i have two children myself (boy 7 girl fixing to be 11) and they love to ask questions one right after the other. my 7 year old is worse and trust me i dont think its a phase lol. if it is i dont see mine coming out of i too soon lol

well my sisters kid is like that everything has a why at the end

Thatz expected of them, as at this age they are inquisitive and have no hesitation to ask. But as we grow old, all complexes creep into us and so we loose on knowlegde front
