I've observed that some patients are just stubborn that they won't listen to what their doctors have instructed. My father is a good example. He was told not to eat fatty foods, but he always does. I try to remind him every time but he wouldn't just listen.

I'd rather to follow my doctor's advice when i am sick, like use the medicine even sometimes i used to use the pills as i don't like any pills medicine, but i think i have to, it's important for my self, but like your father case, my father also sometimes doesn't care with doctor's advice, may be some old man are nasty ;).

For the most part, yes. However, when we first had our daughter, the doctor said to never use baby wipes, it'snot goodfor their skin. I thought he was nuts,we had about 20 cases of wipes. So, I did not listen and used the wipes. 7 years later, my daughters butt is fine. LOL

i generally hate going to the doctor so its only when im really sick and can hardly get out of bed that i go to the doctor. i also hate taking medicine so i ususally take the prescribe medicine until i start to feel better and then i stop even though its prescribed for a certain amount of days. I never take medicine till the last day.
