I've been following Neil's blog for quite some time, and he talks a lot about the production of the movie, and occasionally shares some pictures from the set. I am so excited about this movie, I really can't wait to see it. The promo pics that have been shown are absolutely beautiful. I think we've got another epic a la The Princess Bride in the making.

I liked this book alot. So does my boyfriend, he has Stardust tattoos! I'm definitely excited about the movie. Not too thrilled about the cast.

Yeah. The cast doesn't seem to have that magical vibe for the movie. :( But i hope it's just all in my head.

Wow! You wouldn't imagine how glad i was to stumble upon your thread. I, like you, am a Neil Gaiman fan... I just have to say that Gaiman's the rock star of today's literature. Stardust is simply beautiful. It's a better than Snowhite, or The Little Mermaid, or Sleeping Beauty combined! I wish it becomes a timeless fairytale. Something as classical as the other popular ones. Thanks for letting us know about the movie. I'm excited to see it! Woohoo! Cheers!

I have to admit that I am SO nervous about how this movie will turn out! Stardust is one of my favorite books ever, so I'm worried that they won't do it justice, or that they'll try to change too much. (I think one of my biggest pet peeves is movies that stray too far from the book!)

I'm getting more and more excited about this movie daily. I read Neil Gaiman's blog, and he was talking about how he and his daughter, Maddy, are getting ready for the Hollywood premier of the movie. The fact that he has said that the movie appears to be exactly what he wanted makes me very happy!
