I'm sure the enemy in Iraq would love for us to tell you when and where we will conduct raids too! No war has ever been fought on a calendar. This argument is a red herring. Even if an exact date has been set, there is NO REASON for the administration to tell anyone but Gen. Petraus.

PS: Why don't you insist the terrorists give us an exact date when they will pullout?

My point is made....who cares when or where but HOW . Petraus cant do it. I could do a better job from my home. Simple stop all trafic and take a census of everyone in IRAQ. Pretend haha its an epidemic of the bird flu....isnt that about what these idiots are?

Gen. Petreus and the reinforcement have just begun. Why don't you let the stragety get moving before you mindlessly count it as a loss? And you didn't answer my question. Why aren't you demanding a date of withdrawal from the terrorists?

The main reason for the war given by U.S. President Bush was the presence of weapons of mass detruction in Iraq. The U.S. government considered these weapons as threatening to American interests. Also Bush claimed that the U.S. could not wait until the threat from Saddam Hussein became real. But after the invasion, there was still no evidence of such weapons. Other U.S. officials cited Saddam Hussein's alleged connection to Al-Qaeda and pointed to human rights abuse in Saddam Hussein's Iraq and the necessity to build democracy in Iraq. But this invasion was carried out to exploit Iraq's oil resources. Many critics have claimed that this was the primary reason for the invasion. I will bet you that the exact date will be the day the oil in Iraq is depleted, and then total withdrawal will start. God bless the poor Iraqis!

Excellent comment. Loooks like we have committed the human rights abuses. The oil is being depleted by being destroyed now in blasts and used for the war and other things like auto, boat and plane races, shows etc...We could stop all of this if we just shut down the country and took a census. If it were the bird flu we would shut everything down. This is worse. Check out the W.H.O. plan for a bird flu outbreak. If we did this in Iraq we might stop this plague. but of course oil is more important
