Old country music singers

My favorite classic country singer was Johnny Cash. I like his music and it reminds me of the old days sitting on the front porch with my day and the rain hitting the metal roof. His favorite was johnny Cash too. We wouls sit on the porch and listen to his old records when it was raining outside and we had nothing to do. Daddy would sing along with him and we would laugh when he missed a word. Well anyway its a great memory of mine. Do you have a favorite singer from the classic country singers?
