In my country it is common to meet children aged below 18 years, who look very impoverished and claiming to be total orphans, you pick them up to help at first they are good but, later they turn out to be thieves. they disappear with you money or other possesions. Now what do think is it ok to adopt these stranger orphans?

Knowing this and asking this leads me to think that they took advantge of you! Did they? Seems like you could take them to the police or some agency that would keep them somewhere to educate and rehabilitate them. If not then avoid them and unfortunately as they get older they will finally be off the streets in jails. Good luck with this.

ha;..ha Our police here isn't well organized and advanced like yours over there. However at times its hard to avoid them, we have had several wars that has left many homeless, and of cause having been a victim myself it becomes almost hard to ignore such misearable looking fellows. I think the best thing to do is to carefuly study and understand a stranger before allowing them in for even a night. once there is any doubt from within don't make a move.

Hi! First of all, welcome to myLot! In my country, we don't just adopt strangers right on. We do a background check first because it's very common that strangers take advantage of others (as you have mentioned). Thus, it's common to us when they say, "biting the hand that feeds you." It's not about being exacting and aloof or being high-standard, but it's better to be careful than sorry.

In my country its not like that. But in your country I would not adopt an orphan if they are only going to steal from you.

To keep from feeling sorry about them I would just drop off some cloths and food where ever I see them and move on. Because nowadays you can't trust anyone. In the united states I think they do that for a living to get over on others by getting money.
