wash in your clothes washer with about 1 cup each of vinegar and bleach. Add white towels, normal amount of clothes soap and run. Don't forget to add liquid clothes softener (it helps keep your shower curtain clean). When the load is done, return the curtains to their place in the bathroom to drip dry (the wrinkles will disappear in a day or so)

I think this is easier to do. I used to throw away shower curtains that looked bad already, it seems there are lots of ways to keep them in good looking shape. Thanks, I've learned from you, too.

Another great idea, you should publish these ideas pal, do you get Take A break magazine? Well they publish and pay for these gems of yours, just a thought, I'll gladly find their address for you, (blushes yes I do buy Take A Break but its for the puzzles and to pass on to mum! I don't have a shower curtain anymore I have a glass panel installed instead, much better and less cleaning!

Thanks for this idea. I have no bleach but I can try with the vinegar first and see what happens.

I use the same mixture, but in a spray bottle. Just spray it on the shower curtain, you can see the grime run down, the turn on the shower to rinse. I didn't know about the fabric softener though, I will have to try it.

Thanks. That is a great idea. I will have to try it. I usually buy the cheap shower curtains from the dollar store. So this way when they get nasty looking, I just throw them away and buy another one.
