Schools closing early here because of bad weather!

This is so weird and I will have to get offline because my kids will be home early because of the bad weather. This is horrible. The sun was just out and like within 10 minutes the ground is covered with snow and it is snowing so hard you can hardly see out the window.

The schools have the same practice where I live, but as of this year it hasn't happened yet. We've hardly had any snow at all, it's just been really really cold. This morning it was -29 with the wind chill. I made my children stay in the house until we saw the bus coming down the hill so they wouldn't have to wait outside in the bitter cold. I'd rather have the snow then this cold weather.

Our kids didn't even have schools, they just closed them all over. It is supposed to be better this afternoon and tonight it snows and then tomorrow a few degrees warmer into double digits. We actually made the high temperature from yesterday. Sure will be nice not to hear our furnace run off and on all the time. Guess that snow of yours is coming this way. Take care and hope it doesn't get too bad!!

We're supposed to get hit with that storm later tonight. When I woke up this morning around 9:00, it was really bright and sunny, now it's getting really cloudy really quick, and the sun is completely gone. It just started to enter the lower half of my state, and is supposed to be in my area around 9PM or so tonight. It's really going to be an interesting night.

I love the snow, it is forcast here for the next few days, but only showers so I doubt it will settle.
Its a shame as I love playing in the snow with my kids and if they have a day off from school its great as we can do all kinds of great things that we normally wouldn't do.

Here, schools closed because it was too cold! That never happened when I was in school. Its insane, apparently it was too cold for the buses to start and thats why there is no school today.

I live in Michigan, where the temps have been bitterly cold the last 2 days. Massive school closings due to the cold weather alone for 2 days. With the wind chill, it is -20. I'm glad they close schools because that is some dangerous frostbite weather out there right now! Hurry up Spring!!!! :-)
