How many people know about CHILD ABUSE? How many people have been direct victims of CHILD ABUSE? I,myself, have been a victim of child abuse since I was born. I grew up in foster care from the age of 6 or 7 years old til I graduated high school!(This is a subject of another discussion I will be posting). I never had a "normal" life. I have childhood memories of being kidnapped by my step-father (age 1 year). I have memories that go back to when I was a baby, with a bottle. I remember laying on an old mattress in the middle of a dingy apartment, no other furniture, that I recall. I do recall the cock-a-roaches climbing on the nipple of my bottle, when I was trying to drink from it. Maybe that is why I have such a phobia about cock-a-roaches! Real nice memories to have to look back on, huh?
