Email addresses...Disposable?

I was reading something online that confused me, now I am looking for some answers. I was reading about a gmail account I believe and the article said something about how you could use disposable email addresses that you can give to one site and then not use anymore. You would have numerous email addresses daily however all would go into one account for your approval or something like that. Does anyone have a clue about this or know of any such thing? Any responses are appreciated and will be rated for posting! Thanks for your help. Please post links, etc that would lead me to sites that offer this. FREE would also be nice. I am not interested in paying for an address!

i've never heard of disposable, but just about any email provider offers email forwarding so the email for one domain would go to another domain's mailbox yahoo mailbox...so for example you could get gmail in your yahoo inbox... if you have outlook, you can see what free email servers there are that would work with that, but it is harder to find - but once set up, they can all come into your inbox under outlook - this is harder to manage though because you have so many accounts in one place (I currently have 5 that go to one box) hope that helped!
