What car do you drive and why? What car would you have if you could?

Bizzie's Car - This is a picture of my beloved 1996 BMW 318SE, I've loved this car since I brought it, but it's getting a little old now so time to get a new one!

I brought my car because I drove past a car sales place everyday and saw a beautiful one parked on the forecourt, this went on for a few months, so one day I decided I would go and buy it and would you believe it they had sold it! So I went and brought another one from else where! I've always loved the shape of the BMW and it's been a great driving experience. I'm going to change it within the next few months and haven't a clue what to buy! If I could afford any car in the world it would be a Bugatti Veyron as it's sooooo fast!!

Oh they look fun, I've never had one myself but I do love the older cars. Do the newer ones live up to the older cars standards do you think?

I have a Dodge Durango. I love it. I is an awesome vehicle. I've had few problems which is always a plus. We have 3 kids, which is why we got it. Being a medium size SUV I am worried we may have to get a new vehicle when the next baby arrives in May! I love the Durango and if I can get one with more room, it may be the only vehice I ever own! The only downside is that you have to flip up the seats to access the back seat and its a v8 so gas mileage could be better.

I used to drive a Volvo it was only a second hand one but it did a good job for me getting me from here to there like doing my shopping, and going to visit friends and it also helped me to travel backwards and forwards from the country side to the city a couple of times. But now I cannot drive my car no more due to I have sugar diabetbies of my eye sight, so I have to take my mind away from this discussion as it is a bit distressing for me to talk about a car now.

Me? I've got a real hot rod! I currently drive a Chrysler Town and Country Mini Van. Not totally in love with it, but it's a good vehicle and holds all the kids and friends. We've even gone camping for a week at a time, me, 5 kids and all it holds us and all of our stuff, so there's something to be said for it. I got this mini van when my Dodge mini van went on fire when I was driving it. That was fun. My husband is a mechanic and does auto body, so we don't buy anything new, usually we get something that needs body work and he makes it look like new. I also drive the GTO that is my avatar, that's hot. It's a 4 speed on the floor, quick as can be and I just love it. Any car I want? Probably a lambroghini!

I wish I knew what half of these cars were, must get on the search sites and get some reading up done! Although I do love the Hummers that you have over there, although far too big for the roads round here! Yes a Lamborghini would probably my second option!

I drive a mini van, we have 3 kids that are still in car seats and we need the room to move. I would love to have a suburban or something realy big like that so I can bring along friends and family and still fit all the childrens acesories !

I drive a 2001 Ford Focus SE...and I bought it because I supposably got a family discount. My grandfather worked there until retirement, and my mom's cousin works at a dealership. I hate FORD my car looks nice on the outside but something breaks on it every other week. If I could have any car within reason I would want a Hondo Civic hybrid. If I could have maybe a car a little out of my price range I'd want a Mercedes SLR. And if I went way out of my price range I'd like to have a either an old style lotus (like in Pretty Woman) or a Lamborghini Diablo.

Hi, My friend has a hybrid Civic and she absolutely loves it although it is only a two seater! Well I've been in the market for a car for the last couple of weeks as my poor little BMW is now falling to pieces - the central locking has now started playing up so now brought a new(ish) car - a Jag S Type and with any luck I should take delivery of it today or Monday at the latest! I would have loved the Merc SLK but with a teenager still at home it's not practical until she has a car of her own (hopefully in a few months!) Thanks for your response!

I didn't actually learn to drive until I was 50 so I had left it more than a bit late. However, I learned in a Vauxhall Corsa and loved the way the car responded. While learning to drive I used to drive past a little garage in our town and on the forecourt was a flame red Corsa. As the weeks went by, I kept seeing that Corsa sitting there, almost calling to me. Sounds daft, but I really felt that was *my* car and, on the day I passed my test, I went straight to the garage and bought the car. My little red wreck has been mine for 5 years now and I still love my Corsa. I have since driven a friends Jaguar, a great drive and very, very fast, but if I was to get another car now, I guess it would probably be another Corsa

Corsa's are nice little cars specially handy around town! My daughter is learning to drive at the moment and have been looking for a car for her to drive too so might have a look at some Corsas! Thank you for your response!

I bought my car because I desperately needed one to go out on weekends. Taxi is damn expensive in Dubai and having a car saves a lot of money. I always had a fascination for a Toyota because of its quality and affordability. So I went forward and bought a Toyota Echo, as it gives good mileage and easy to handle inside the city. If I can afford any day I would like to own a Mercedes E class.
