Has anyone upgraded to Window's Vista yet?

I have a computer that is Vista Premium ready and am trying to decide whether or not to go ahead and upgrade to Vista. I am currently running Window's XP Media Center edition. I like the screen shots I have seen of the new operating system, but have heard that they have problems with their EULA and also that there are some compatibility issues with Apple's IPod. Has anyone upgraded yet? If so, are you having any problems with the new operating system? Any compatibility issues with any programs? Help me decide whether to upgrade or wait!

I too was impressed with the new visual experiences that Vista offers users. I also like the fact that it is supposed to be easier to use, but I think I will probably wait a while and let them get all the bugs fixed first.

I should say dont.. Wait till for at least a few months before upgrading. 1) 512 is really not enough 1 gig RAM is the best. 512 lags 2) Yes there are compatibility issues with the Ipod 3) Wait till all these bugs are found and fixed

I was thinking the same thing! Since I am on the road traveling constantly, I use a cellular air card for internet access, and also use PC miler for routes, and I was afraid there would be compatability issues. I think I will wait for a while till they get these fixed. I also saw something about the EULA that says that if you upgrade to Vista, you can't go back to the previous operating system. Is that true?

My brother tried on his laptop, i checked every thing. the best feature in it is any program cannot be installed in background. Built-in Internet Explorer 7, Media Player 11, Icons are excellent and the main thing its not running slow, i think its faster than XP. Requires atleast 512 MB RAM and 1.7+ Processor

I did not know that it would not let any programs be installed in the baCkground, that is neat! I appreciate the information. I am supposed to receive the upgrade to Vista free through Acer - a promotional thing when I bought my laptop. I think I will go ahead and send for it. I have until March 30 to do so. My main concern was compatibility issues with my most frequently used programs.
