I lost my mom when i was 12 and there are days when I wish she were here to tell me everything will be ok. She missed out on my boys, she missed out on so much. But mostly it is hard because I just want my mommy to take care of me. The photo is a picture of me and my brothers and my mom. I was 2 there.

I really very sorry, Its really a painfull feeling to loose our family member forever (till the day of judgement) I already lost my elder brother in a road accident when he was of 25 years old. 10 years have passed but we still feel this accident with pain. God may keep the people safe.

That's a heart-breaking story. I'm sure you're trying to make up for the loss of your mother by being so good to your siblings and children. Most people who lost their mothers when they're still young are more responsible and dependable. I bet you're one of the world's best moms, just like my mother. She does everything in her means to get us all through school. She's a fine, brave woman too who lost her father when she was about 12 or 14. She learned the hard way and now she's still trying to be the best mom on Earth.

Thank you, I do try hard to be a good mom. I show my children as much love as they can handle lol. Yes I do think in a way: the way I raise my children is because of losing the people I love so early in life. I know that life is a gift and that it can be gone sooner than we realize. So as jack said in the titanic movie "Make each day count"

My dad passed away when I was only 4. He had a heart attack, so my mom raised 3 kids on her own. She never remarried. All my life I have thought about what it would have been like to have a dad... it's so hard to even imagine! I have to wonder if he'd be proud of me... what he would think of my husband and what kind of grandfather he would have made for my girls. But that's something I'll never know...

Yes, I lost my beloved nan at the age of 15, I was very close to her and loved her dearly, she lost her fight against cancer it was the first time I had to deal with grief and it was horrible, it was the same time I lost my faith, how could someone like my nan who was gentle, loved everyone and wouldn't hurt a fly be made to suffer and taken away at such a young age? When you're young you just don't understand these things.

That is so true. I still wonder why my mom had die. But I think it has made me a stronger person. It made me a better parent to my children so in a way her dying brought something good to my life. Thanks for your comment. Im sorry to hear about your nan.

yeah I lost my father when I was a fourteen and six years back I lost my mom too. SHe at least saw my elder son but she missed out on my daughter my brothers wedding and everything good. My parents were hard working people and they really struggled all their lives to give us the best now my brother is doing really well and I am also happy but I sometimes miss them seeing and enjoying the fruits of what they had toiled so much. I sometimes think life is so unfair. My brother gave me a mobile from his first pay, that day I really cried, I wished we could have afforded that when my mom was still alive. she didn't see any of the luxuries we can now indulge in. In my father's time it was not even invented. To own a tv was such a big thing then. Sometimes I really fell like going out somewhere to look for them and bring them back. I know how you feel too. we want to share so much with them but can not. I miss them too.
