Did you gift someone sonething when you got your first salary

I went to the temple for prayers and then I bought gifts for my then boyfriend , parents and brother. It was really good and fun to buy something or the other for them from the first salary.

Yup. I gave it to my mom and she was surprised. She didn't think I could earn money on my own and yet I did and still do until now.
