A disc jockey on a local station was talking about schools having delays due to the weather being below 10 degrees in the am. He was critisizing that "we're raising a world of babies". I don't think it's so horrible. When the temp goes up about 10 degrees in 2 hours, it's a world of difference while waiting for the bus. What do you think? Do you think schools should have delays? Or, think we should just bundle the kids up?

Thanks. Do the schools get delayed there? I guess school districts need to think of children whose parents aren't there to make sure they're properly dressed. I mean, I bundled my son up. But, I went outside w/my hair wet. And, of course, it froze!! But, at least I had my son appropriately dressed.

it got down to -2oC in the UK yesterday and we had about 6cm of snow and the entire country came to a standstill. You'd think after several thousand years of it snowing every winter we would have worked out how to handle cold weather

wrap them up and sent them out there, whatever doesn't kill them makes them stronger. Is 10 degrees really cold (whats that in celcius?). If you've got a lot of snow as well i could understand them closing or delaying the opening of schools.

No, it's fahrenheit. Where we are, it's very cold, but we haven't much snow. Just the bitter cold, and a delay again tomorrow am.
