Backmasking Nirvana tracks

I've recently run across some videos on YouTube of Nirvana songs being played backwards. It seems many people have attempted to decipher messages from these songs. Do you think that Kurt Cobain could have added subliminal messages to his songs or do you think that it's simply coincidence?

No he was grunge and grunge was straight, so he meant everything what he said or sung. He was a legend who got hunted down by his success, unluckely. But I don't think there are messages when you play their songs backwards, that's something for Led Zeppelin :).
