Every country has her unique dance or dances. I have seen a lot of different kinds of dances. Each one is really intriquing. There are no duplicates. Each dance has it's own originality and form. They are formed by the mentality and culture of the people. It is all about how they feel about life.
What sort of dance or dances are traditionally found in your country? Let us know and perhaps you can also explain so that it becomes knowledge for all of us here.

Yes, glad to have an irish here. If I am not mistaken, irish dances are very lively and jumpy. You probably need to be quite energetic to dance one. Hope you would have some pictures uploaded on irish dances.

I believe Dance is a way of pushing out your stress in mind and brain.Hence the dance is evolved with this motto,I understand.
Hence it is not imporatant what is the Dance Form. But we should learn to practice it and hence it can be used as a tool to refresh your mind in these days of Heavy Stress in Life.
I am from India and BHARAT NATYAM is the well known dance from.Other one is KATHAKKALI.

I like what you said about dancing. It takes out stress from our life. Yes, when we dance, we tend to forget about daily affairs and relaxes our self. Don't you feel great and refreshed after a dance? Sometimes, I feel dancing is addictive. You'd want to dance even more.
