I stick to friends who are sincere and understanding. These friends stay with me through thick and thin. I know I could trust them with my secrets, and they will always be willing to give a helping hand whenever I need them. These are the kinds of friends who last a lifetime.

the friends i like to keep usually are the ones who care about me and usually show this by keeping in touch with me by being thoughtful and kind to see how i am doing.

There are really not any friends that I have not stuck with, except for maybe one from childhood that I feel I don't have that much in common with anymore. It is usually friends drifting out of my life, not the other way around, but that is just how things have worked out. I have a great online friend right now who I would easily consider my best friend, and we have been chatting for nearly eight years. We have stuck by each other and helped each other out with numerous problems. I know that I hope to stick by her for as long as she is willing to be in my life. ^_^
