Can anyone reccomend a good branded 2.1 Speaker System

i am planning to go in for a 2.1 speaker system. But i dont know which brand to go in for... can anyone reccomend anything from experience ????
i like the creative inspire 2.1 but i heard that there are many more like altec lansing etc etc .. please help
