Being left out of the group after the break up, is that fair?

My friend's girlfriend has learned to play guitar and now joins our jams each week and we all have a great time. But she is afraid that if they split up she will not be welcome in the group. What should she do?

I dont think so, she needs to be worry at all about this. First and most important thing you could do is to make her realised that she is welcomed in the group. I know it happens for many girls, they don't feel comfortable in such situations. But this is just the matter of time. I am sure she will be just fine after 2-3 more meetings with you all. Just keep talking with her.

If and when it happens but I see them getting hitched. They really seem to be great together, so let's see how it goes. No panicing just yet. :) thanks

If she can perform really well, why should she be out? And moreover, if they have a really decent affair, why should they breakup in the first place? Anyway ask her to practice well and be one of the key member of the band. That will do her a world of good.

Well she is just learning but none of us are pros by a long shot. I am just banking on the fact they will get married eventually. Right after they get divorced from their previous marriages.

I don't think she should worry. If you are all friends it shouldn't really matter. It sounds as if she doesn't want to be with this guy.. It maybe a arkward situation but until it happens No one should worry about it. You shouldn't break of a friendship just because a couple has split.

Yeah I agree but the feels between two people that have split can make for some really tense jams. We have already been through it. :) It's not normally the friends it the two that split that have the issues. So we will kick em both out if they split, that'll teach em.

Make it known to her that she is welcome. Also, if something does ever happen, make sure someone can contact her and encourage her to come around.
