would you invite an ex to your wedding?

my cousin is about to get married next month and she told me that she is having difficulty deciding whether or not to invite her ex boyfriend/s, especially those with whom she maintained friendship. i told her its okay because they are still her friends but she's worried that it might be too awkward for her fiance and the latter's family. how about you guys, would you or wouldn't you?
