I was 20. We were so serious about our relationship and started to dream together. We decided to get married and we're still living happily together with our four-year old daughter. He was my first and last (and ONLY!) bf!:)

wow! you have a very nice love story. my first serious relationship was when i was 14. yep. too young but still a serious one. even when we were at the same age that time, he was already into small businesses and we did dream together. but well, things don't always go right as planned. the relationship only last for months. it hurt me that time. but life went on for me and so for him, too. and now, i am a very happy person with a nice boyfriend and a very thoughtful one.

I was 15 lol. He was 26. Mom and Dad absolutely hated him with a passion. They saw him as a scruffy good for nothing kinda guy. Our relationship really was doomed from the start, but I loved him SO much. He was a fun guy to be with and he made me laugh. However one day, about 5 months in, he called me up and told me that it was over .... totally broke my heart. Mom sat for hours consoling me while I cried about it. A week later, the phonecalls began. We started recieving silent phone calls where nobody would answer when we picked the phone up. One day, they stupidly forgot to block their number. My parents took note of the number and called the police and the phone company. As it transpired, the phone calls were being made by him and his WIFE! Something I'd had no idea about! The word wife was like a slap in the face to me. It was the tonic I needed to move on with my life. It taught me some very valuable lessons though, so, even though the relationship was a disaster and a fraud so to speak, I hold no grudges, it was a huge learning curve for me.

I guess it wasn't a child's play at all because you won't remember it if it was.. Thanks for the response! Have a nice day! :)

I was in the second grade. His name was Dickie Pushard and my family used to make fun of his name. We did everything together. Played hockey on the local pond, went to the Saturday afternoon movies. He used to walk me home for school every day....two blocks from the school but a little out of his way as he lived on the other side of town. Congratulations on your happy marriage. I never took the plunge...preferred to travel the world at the taxpayers expense. I never looked back. They say you can't miss what you never had and I am a great believer in that.

My best friend tried to court me before but i've been really honest (and kinda mean) to him. I told him that i want to have him as my real good friend and not as a boyfriend. We enjoy each others' company and we spent a lot of good times together. Everyone thinks that we were more than friends, even our parents. They were all surprised when i ended up with somebody else. :)

I was 21. I was able to almost get into a relationship a lot earlier with other girls but I felt I wasn't really ready. I still had to finish my majors and work part-time.

I agree with you! Young people need to make studies and work their top priorities. You don't need to seek or impatiently wait for love to come because it will naturally come to you. Love will find us when we least expect it. :)

I had my first boyfriend when I was 13. We were together for almost 10 years, but we broke up a few weeks before our 10th year. I thought that it was headed towards marriage, but then things fell apart. We just grew apart. Having a relationship at an early age taught me a lot of things. It was a real eye opener.
