I use 3G/HSDPA internet connection. On the promotional, the providers usually said the speed can be up to 3.6 Mbps. But we shouldn't hope to much to get that speed. The standard 3G speed is up to 384 Kbps. With this speed, it's believed to be good for video streaming. But practically sometimes we only got about 256 Kbps up to 1.2 Mbps. The main reason is this technology is wireless technology which the performance depends on their infrastructure and also weather. I can say it's much better than conventional dial up connection but it's to far as premises.
