Do you have useful tips to share in the kitchen? Here's one from me: Always pour hot water into the teapot first, to warm the pot, before you pour the boiling water from the kettle. This keep the teapot hot and the tea leaves would seep and open nicely.

When measuring something sticky like honey or molasses for a recipe, spray the the measuring cup with vegetable spray or coat with a little oil first. That way it easily comes out of the cup instead of much of it being stuck to the inside.

If you have children who likes to push buttons. Make sure you always keep a small glass or microwave safe container in your microwave filled with water. That way if those little buggers start the microwave on their one. Your microwave won't explode or break from running empty.

this is no joke, do not fry bacon or pancetta without a shirt on! one day last summer, it was so hot in our apartment, i was cooking dinner with no shirt on and the oil spattered up and onto my stomach and arms. the arms and hands are no biggie because it happens all the time when you cook but the stomach is very sensitive! I've still got a little scar from months ago!

Add salt to water when boiling eggs, the shells come off alot easier. Add a little oil to noodles when boiling it keeps them from sticking.

The only tip I have for that is you know they are done when you spoon one out and it dry's completely within a matter of seconds. With this may you can judge when they are half done etc. I am not sure though.

thank you. Since we are talking about eggs, is there a tip to know if your eggs are half-boiled, 3/4 boiled or fully boiled? Thanks :)

Additonal tips... Even in just plain water, no salt needed. Still you can easily shelled it out by transfering hard boiled eggs out right after from the boiling pan and immediately soaked the eggs into the faucet water. This way the thin membrane attached from the shell will have a gap to the white eggs. When eggs now cold, break the shell and it will wholly detached out from the shell.

To keep refrigerator always free of foul smells... keep it always fresh by placing inside a cup of wood charcoal. This way wood charcoal absorbs and prevent smells from mixing from the variety of food smells inside. Change the cup with new wood charcoal after 2-3 weeks depending on the smell. More cups of wood charcoal the longer it keep the ref smells fresh.

Here's mine too. To make foods with a perfect slices. You must have always super sharp knives. So to keep knives stays sharp.... without the hazzle of sharpening it. place it in the freezer for at least a couple of hours, then use it.
