iPhone will not support 3rd party add-on

I read recently and found out that Steve Jobs announced that iPhone will not support 3rd party add-on.. It means you cannot add extra program or feature. What do you think ? Do you still interest in iPhone ?

yea this is what i mean on the orther post, when i say the possibilty of other brand, they can use third party software ;)

But I don't think Apple is that stupid enough. If the allowed 3rd party software in their another products, even iPod, then why the iPhone is not ? It doesn't make any sense.
