ROMESH PAWAR - Is it right omitting him?

Hi, this poor man has always performed wonderfully as an attacking bowler with exceptional guile and deception in the air, challenging the batsman to have a go at him and deceiving them for his wickets. He always exhibits confident body language and infectious enthusiasm on field. Even though he didn't bat well recently so far, does anyone remember him and balaji whacking shoaib akthar couple of years back when india toured pakistan? When the world cup is going to be held in slow pitches of WI where he will be effective, is it right to omit him from the playing 11 for our home series against srilanka? Don't you think he should be in the playing 11 for all the home odis with srilanka and the world cup? Give me your unbiased views on this. Thanks.

according to me there is no space for romesh powar in indian team. team is to be prepared for world cup and for so highly competitive matches, he is not so handy. he lacks the aggressivenes and quality to take wickets at the needed situations.also he has not proved himself in batting except for one or two times. he has been given many chances to prove his worth but he was not able to deliver upto the mark so right decision to keep him away.

No doubt he is a good spinner but you cant compare him with Harbajan and Kumble.... They are more experience and have a better record than him...

Yes, I agree, but have you read recently that there's an attitude problem with bhajji. Won't if affect the team's morale?

i think indian selector has done a rite thing by omitting him because.. india has two spinners anil and harbhajan...yuraj and tendulkar can do it too...so there is no place for romesh in team..he is not a good fielder too

i think he doesn't have much recommendation which is the prime factor to be eligible to enter the Indian team.
