Do you ever, for non reason, get dressed up???

no there are days..especuially if i have been cooped up at home alot..where i just want to spread my wings and do something for mydlef..and always i get a good compliment for it..not that my hubby notices lol..ehehehehe

No it doesn't happen to me, as a guy i don't give much attention to "dressing up" even when i should do, But I think there's nothing wrong in it, maybe you are just feeling optimistic or subconsciously happy about one thing or another and it reflects on your attitude :)

This kind of thing happened to me quite a few times before... I'm glad someone brought this up... It is driving me nuts, and don't really know the reason behind it! Though I stopped doing that for quite a long time, I still feel curious. I didn't even notice it, until some people pointed it out to me. Even friends who don't live with me noticed it, and whenever I get dressed up, they'd go: "Uh-oh! he's doing it again!" Yeah it reminds me of when you have a crush on someone who is expected to show up anytime... but also happened when I didn't feel that.... What the f*** is that?

Yes in fact being a stay at home mother I am usually in my Pajamas all day. So when I go somewhere anywhere I will get dressed up. Alot of times I look really good just to go to the grocery store! Funny all the guys check me out .... It makes me feel like a person again because there is nothing glamorous about staying home with your disabled son! I love it but its not like being a celebrity thats for sure!

haha...i think it's a normal behaviour. Sometimes, I also feel like putting on my good clothes and look good for no reason, and do the same. And also, put on makeup whenever i feel like putting it on even if it's before bedtime,and then would wash my face.

I think your totally normal.. even though I probably wouldn't dress up for no reason. I am a casual gal and love being comfortable.

Oh yes, I think most women do if we're honest! Nothing makes a girl feel better than to feel good about herself, and wearing nice clothes, and some make-up, is a good way to do that without breaking the bank! o of coure you're not losing your mind - well unless I am too! LOL!

I think it happens spontaneously. Who knows! It happens to me when I'm in a real good mood!

You must be crazy, what made you to dress up with so much enthasusiasm? Hope you are enjoying yourself :) I have not done anything like that.

no dear ur just not loosing ur mind it shows that u r happy due to some reason but u are not able to understand why .ur desires are coming out and u r expressing ur inner wishes in the form of getting dressed .this is a commom thing and this happens with many people including me

I do this too! Sometimes I just feel like getting all dressed up. Sometimes I don't even go anywhere either.

It depends, if i'm in a really good mood ;) Sometimes I really dress up when going to church or on our Friday night youth service. If I feel like dressing up, I would but if I feel like wearing something just comfortable but still stylish, then i'd go for that.

I do because I have to for work but I am sure that if I didn't I still would, I do stay in my suits after work before I get ready for bed and on day when I have nothing to do but work around the house I dress up a little still not as nice as I do for work but more than most people would.

I have to dress up daily for work, so I count the hours to get in my jeans and t-shirt. I have been known to dress up on the week-end for no apparent reason, but mostly I do not do it out of the work have to dress that way.

i'll tell you what happens to me... I always choose my dress at morning accordint to the weather or what I'm going to do (formal meeting, a day at the hospital, a day in laboratory, meeting with friends and so on) ..therefore sometimes I'm very formal, other times I wear jeans...but when I'm a bit depressed I take much care of me and the things I put on....that is I choose my favourite underwear, my favourite clothes, I pay much attention to make up...it helps me feel better, a little...in this way i turn the bad mood into another opportunity of loving me!!! Anyway clothes are a funny joke...one we start playing as a children..why should we stop playing as women? It is so funny matching dresses and shoes and coats...well..I must confess...I like the simple idea of dressing up!

I do sometimes. I like to have fun with fashion! Sometimes I'm a grunge chick ~ and sometimes I look pretty sharp! Nothing wrong with that!

As I can remember, I have never done dressing up like you said. But feeling just wanted to go out and got changed and finally ended up sitting on my sofa, ever done by me.
