bulbs or fluorescents?

I have bulbs right now, but was just discussing this last night. My Mother has macular degenration, she is losing her eyesight. If it is not real bright in her house she can not see well. I was wondering how to make it brighter when a friend said I could purchase fluorescent bulbs now instead of changing all the fixtures. So I am going to see if that helps. I have fluorescents at work and like them a lot better. Even though they do stimulate you more I still may put them in ny house.

I prefer to have flourescent than old bulbs. It's much brighter if you use flourescent.
