When XP came out several years ago, all other MS OS's that were running any kind of non windows based internet programs like browser, security, etcetera started to have trouble with the plugins for the programs to make them function in lieu of programs like Internet Explorer or Microsoft Outlook. Well it seems that they have done it again with the new Vista Program, the new Office Suite, and the new (and terrible)tabbed Internet Explorer . I have used a tabbed web browser for years. The number 1 rated free tabbed web browser, Slimbrowser. Now all of the sudden certain sites that I use everyday are rejecting their proper login codes and acting strangely when pulled up in my default web browser. Is anyone else having these same types of problems with their everyday internet programs that are Non-Microsoft programs?

Yes, yes, yes! When Explorer 7 downloaded I was able to get to my Tupperware site but I was unable to enter a party order! Not good for a consultant! I called my manager - she was able to get on my site and do it....I called Tupperware, they were able to get on my site and do it...I called Sudden Link, my ISP Cable Company provider, they were able to get on my site and do it...I looked up the directions for my computer and followed them with no luck. Finally, I took the advice that the young man from my cable service gave me. He said that there were MANY problems with Explorer 7 and suggested downloading either Firefox or Netscape browers. In the past I had problems with Firefox blocking me with many sites so I chose Netscape this time. It is not the most wonderful thing either because it blocks some things, but at least I can put an order in. I'm not sure what to do from here. Good luck Sharone ~Donna
