I like to mark Best Responses for my discussions, but I'm not sure how long to wait. You know as soon as I choose the best out of some medicore responses, soemone will come through witha GREAT repsonse and I will have already given someone else the "high marks". So do you wait for a certain number of responses to rate and mark them?

I tend to be a bit lazy and leave mine for ages just in case.

That's probably the smart way to do it-- wait a while until the topic seems to die down. Thanks!

I just sat and did the 'best responses' for all my posts from last week. I was just leaving them on the off-chance that someone else would reply, but thought that a week was long enough to leave them all open. I don't wait for a number of posts, I just do it on the length of time they've been on the go.

I wait until someone answers my discussion back with a good quality response that not only be useful to me only, but also helpful and useful to others as well. I choose "best response" if they are descriptive, make sense and contains good information.

i try to wait at least 4 days to a week. i like don't like to be so fast with giving out the best response. so give it a few days to hit that best response button. you never know that answer might come at the last minute

I try to wait untill the responses die off a little. Most of the time this works, but then somehow it gets going again. I would give it alittle time.

I have wandered this myself. I usually wait till the next day and decide. Sometimes if one grabs me as soon as i read it i will go ahead and mark it.
