my 9 month old baby enjoys books more than toys. i have observed that he easily gets bored with his toys. what educational toys do you think would he enjoy? he loves sounds and music so i think that would be a great help in choosing for a toy. thanks!

my little boy also loves books since he was a baby until now. so i bought those books with sounds, and he just loves it. it's an inter-active kind of reading and in that way, he's learning while playing. you can check the bookstore for the different kinds of children's books with sounds. it's quite pricey though. but well worth it for he still enjoys it until now.

I suggest you buy the leap frog toys. There are various musical toys available for your child to enjoy.

The Leap Frog series come highly recommended, but they are quite pricey. One tip that a friend suggested and seems ok is to rotate his toys. When he gets bored with the present toy, let him play with another and hide the first toy for next time. That way, he thinks his toys are always new :).

my baby is not fond of playing with toys. she'd rather play with my cellular phone, digicam, or even our remote control. but when she received her leap pad alphabet bus, oh how she loves playing with it! You can use different cartridges so she won't get bored playing with it. She learned shapes from it and loves to sing along with it. Try it!
