Would you want to see a qualified woman run and win? Would she be assasinated? How do you think she would fair? What about a President of Ethnicity? How do you feel about it? http://www.cawp.rutgers.edu/Facts.html http://feminism.eserver.org/facts-on-working-women.txt http://www.depts.drew.edu/wmst/StudentRes/statistics.htm http://www.parliament.uk/commons/lib/research/notes/snsg-01250.pdf

Our deputy president is a woman. South Africa leads the way in women’s participation in cabinet, with 42 percent women ministers, and now a woman deputy president.

I think a woman would be capable of doing the job, and I think a woman could win. She would be no more likely to be assassinated than a man, in my opinion. However, I would NOT vote for her just because she was a woman! Here's the thing: it would have the be the RIGHT woman for the job.

I think that someday a woman will be president...but at the moment i don't think there is a qualified candidate..yes there are women in congress and women governers but I really don't think they are interested in becoming a president.....We will see......someday a woman will be president!

I think, if she were legitimately qualified and her political party wasn't just pushing her gender, she would get elected.

I think a woman would be capable of running and winning the presidency. I think a woman would think about some issues men wouldn't. As for her being assasinated I think it wouldn't matter if she was a woman or not. And I think a president of ethnicity would be a good president as well. I don't think race or gender should be an issue when it comes to running this country.

I agree that it should not be an issue either, but I'm wondering if it isn't because rarely do you see, in the U.S.A., a major candidate of ethnicity or a woman.

Blame the political parties for that. Both are pretty much run by rich white guys who probably do their part to keep minorities out of the spotlight. I think the only way you are going to see a woman/ethnic president is if you get a legitimate third party.
