Which city skyline is more impressive, New York City or Hongkong?

I'm a person who's really fascinated with tall buildings and impressive skyline. I'm a civil engineering student and I was tasked to make a report about a city that has the best skyline on earth and to provide pictures to support it why I made that choice. Is it New York City in USA or Hongkong in China?
