I don't have insurance, and I can't afford to pay out of pocket to go the doctor so that is out the question. I found some old antibiotics so I am taking them. Any home remedies that you can think of. I really need some suggestions. Thanks.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I say if it gets any worse, please seek treatment at a medical facility. I do know what it's like living without insurance, but sometimes we just have to go. I found this link that might be helpful for you: http://ezinearticles.com/?Home-Remedy-For-Sinus-Infection&id=144239 Try hot showers and maybe one of those SudaCare Shower Soothers. www.prodhelp.com/product.aspx?id=531

Don't take old antibiotics - more likely than not they are not working and could make you more sick. Something I try before going to the doctor: inhaling hot steam from a hot pot, taking a hot shower and let the water run over my head (helps my head to drain), drinking warm tea with mint, drinking lots of fluids (primarily water and anything with vitamin C). I haven't really found a way to get the congestion to dry up though, and that is what you really need. If you can afford just over the counter meds, find a sinus medicine that had a good decongestant to help with the congestion and post nasal drip issues. If you have to go to the doctor, you should call your local health center, there may be a free clinic or reduce income clinic you can go to.
