My nine month old

My baby turned nine months last month and is one little "hurricane". He moves a lot since he has learned to crawl already and is awake more often than he used to. I was wondering if anyody out there knows of any daytime activity I can do with him. All I do is read a book, which he looses interest in after two or three pages, or watch a childrens show, which i am not very enthusiastic about because I don't want him to end up a couch potato. If there is anything you might know or resources I can use to make the most out of his day, please tell.

They are a handful at that age, I remember! I always kept blocks and other bright easily held toys around, kids love to bang them together or stack them at that age. Atleast they try to! Very cute age. You can also try walks outside, and wrestling to engage him physically, even peek-a-boo around a door. Kids love that. Just putting a few toys out and sitting on the floor at his level will inspire him to lead you in play. While there you can start introducing him to shapes and colors. Most of all have fun, and BEFORE he's all worn out from playing, be sure to give him downtime to de-stimulate him. So you don't end up with a grumpy baby:)

Thank you so much for yur tips :) You are so right when you say they can ba handful at this age. My baby loves to chew on computer cables! when he gets bored of everything else, off to the computers he go. I think he figures since me and my husband are on the computer most of the time, it's his way of becoming a part of "our world".
