I vote for ipod. Maybe sony have a little bit better sound, but ipod still the best for me. I like the ipod design, it is slim, simple, and futuristic. Mine is ipod nano 8GB. The sound is good enough I think, and I've discovered if ipod battery is long lasting. But, sony is great too.

As far as sound quality is concerned Sony is a class apart.But when it comes to user freindliness none can beat iPod.Also Sony boasts of quick charge that is as low as 3 min...But still Ipod would emerge as the winner
