The daily struggle of owning and being owned by the coolest dog but the most stubborn dog breed I have ever known.

These dogs are so stubborn. And they also tend to deceive you at times. I have a husky named Lucas and when he sees me, he walks slowly towards me. When I kneel down, he suddenly bursts into speed and jumps right at me. And then he gets my sandals... while I'm still wearing it. I have to ask my brother to help me pull his teeth out of it so that I could walk again! But I love Huskies... they're the closest to owning a wolf... i think...

They can be stubborn. But, would you have any other breed? We have 2 Sibes, 2 year old female black and white, and an 8 year old male red and white. She is wired and out of racing stock. Training? Only if she is in the mood and that won't last long. Kai is a real gentleman, so laid back. Well, unless he sees a border collie! Then all bets are off.

My Sib, Maggie, is Red&White. She is of racing stock but by the means of she is half greyhound. There is a breeder in Indiana that is crossing the two breeds to create a better racing or sled dog. She is very slow though, compared with other full breed Sib's and with other Greyhound mixes. I love my knuckle head though. You can train a Sib all you want you but they do things in their own time.

I have 2 female Siberian Huskies. Angel(pure white) and Dixie(black and white). Dixie is 1 year old and we got her when she was about 8 weeks old. We put in puppy school when she was 10 weeks old, she may not be the very obedient dog but she behaves very well. Except for chewing my couch. Angel, we got her when she was 5 months old, shes about 10 months old now. I think the breeder trained her coz she listens very well.

I have two huskies one 8 years old female and the male is 6 years and yes they are stubborn but you have to be firm with them and let them know who is the leader. You better read and learn more about this breed, they are raise to be work dogs and their nature is to be run and be the leader of the crew. Most people just see the outside look of the dogs and just because they are beautiful dogs they want one but are many other things that you better learn about this breed and the more early you start to training them the more easy will be for you to control them. Yes, they are stubborn but they are very smart dogs too and the effort and love you give to them are worthy.!!
