if you saw a person getting mugged would you turn the other cheek or would you chase after the mugger and try to retrieve what had been stolen?

I don't think I would, and If I did I wouldn't know what I would do with them IF i caught up with them! I'd be far too scared, I'd be more concerned about the person that had been mugged.

That would depend on a couple of things. If there were someone with me that could look after the person mugged and I felt there a good chance fo catching them. The biggest problem you would face here is even if you could catch them what would you do with them. Police have the equipment to do this but for a civilian you better be much bigger and much more of a threat to them than even the police. My first instinct would be to stop the attact and see to the person being attacted but.......

I don't know if i would chase a mugger. but you know what it is one of those things that you just don't know what you would do until you are in that situation. i would love to say that i would step in and help. but fear does things to us we never thought we would do or not do

Wow, I don't think I would chase the mugger, I'd be too scared of getting hurt. I would defintely stop to offer the victim help though and no doubt I'd call 911.

I would not chase the mugger, I'm a 5'2" pregnant woman, there's not much I could do besides get hurt!! I would try to get a good look at the person to help with the police report and description and I would go to the person who got mugged and make sure they are okay and offer to call the police for them and to stick around and be a witness for the police report. I'd also yell out for someone else to try to stop the mugger.
