How'd the Philippines make you feel??

i lived in saudi arabia till the age of 7 then moved to california, and have been living here since. however there is honestly no place like home. going back home to the philippines is the best feeling ever. especially if you have a lot of relatives there who you haven't seen in years. not only do you feel the warmth being with families but SHOPPING THERE IS THE BEST!! i must say even with $.50 you can buy something really cool. the prices and the quality is honestly the best, you can also negotiate with the tellers. if theres anything i could suggest it is island hopping!! don't just stay in the city....if you do that youre not getting the full experience! the provinces make you feel welcome and everyone is always smiling at you. plus the provinces have the BEST BEACHES!! ohh man..clear water plus the services. Cebu and Samar are the two places i love. Davao is also nice... very good tourist spots!! so what was your experience like??
