Do I need to buy a special solvent or does anyone know of a better tip that works?

Hi. I'm not sure if it works for you but you may try hydrogen peroxide. I was lucky enough to remove a blood stain from a leather carseat cover using that. Just on a cotton ball. :)

I will remember that if I ever need to remove a blood stain.

It's very hard to do that. I got ink on my car seats and it was impossible to remove. You might want to go to a place that details cars and ask for their opinion. LLoyd

Mine is actually on a leather bag but thanks - I would definitely go to a car detailer if it was on my car!
