Cats need to eat meat. They cannot survive on a vegetarian or vegan diet (dogs can, but cats cannot). I am a vegetarian myself, so I looked into this for my cats. Needless to say, my research ended when I asked my vet and she informed my that vegetarian diets are unhealthy for cats and would end their lives pre-maturely.

My dear friend don't make a hurry in posting the discussions, We badly wait for quality discussions. You have hardly typed "SIX" words for this discussion. Do you know when we read your discussions, we actually read your mind, heart, brain, nature, attitudes, knowledge & intentions too. Now I don't know, about which perticular "CAT" you are so much serius? Is it your own pet which has gone vegetarian? It's ok! Now you can order some veg pizzas or veg burgers for it. What's the problem? See I have paid my esteemed & precious 5 minutes for your this type of discussion and with a hope of better tomorrow, which will make you, a serius and a "USER" with some substance.

Cat are carnivores. The evolutionary process made cats that way. It violates their cat nature to force a vegetarian diet on them.
