Can you share your writing preferences here in terms of subject of topics that you usually write? I am starting my career in writing article for websites. I am writing more on computer, technology and internet. What about you?

I write for Associated Content. I usually write about scrapbooking, geocaching, dogs, and alternative medicine. I have a few other subjects sprinkled in there for when there were special content offers or I had an idea. My web site is http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/23902/crystal_sciarini.html if you'd like to read some. What site do you write for?

I just actually took an preliminary examination to qualify me to write in Creative Online Solutions. They asked me to write 6 articles about different topics. I'm just waiting for the result of my exam. What can you say about the website you are writing for?

I write pro football, and North Carolina travel type articles for the most part. It's best to stay in the things that you know. Less research that way and quicker articles.

I agree with your idea. If you are into writing, you have to choose the cup of your tea. Good practice. Keep it up!

I write about disability issues a lot, since I'm a disabled person- news, funny stories, memorials.

I have not researched this as of yet, but have been reading that many people do key word searches and find out what words people are putting in to find answers or info about. Then they will take those words and do a little research and write articles on those subjects only

I don't really have a preference subject wise. I never repeat the same idea twice..and when it comes to articles I vary. Mainly I'm a fiction writer. I'm just more recently trying my hand at nonfiction.

I used to write about education, and my writing credits include 30 Instructor articles and a book for teachers, Teaching Ideas for the Come-Alive Classroom (Parker Pub. Co./Prentice-Hall). More recently, however, I write about freelance writing and even have a website, profitable-pen.com, devoted to mining ideas for articles, books and stories from writer's journals.

I write articles for Associated Content but those are very general ones, such as career tips, commercials, american idol (my newest one), and video games. But when I write books, they're primarily children's books.
