I miss my grandfather!

my grandfather died last December...i was not able to see him before he past away.....i love my grandfather..the fact that he was always at our house, giving me food that was also given to him.....he was 92 years old when he passed away last Dec..we buried him last dec 24..hours away before we celebrate christmas...though i already accepted the fact that he was resting already and he was already with my grandmother, i can't help this feeling....maybe im too emotionally attached to my grandfather....

I share the same feeling, Geejoy. My grandfather, mother's father, stayed with us until his last breath. He is like a saint. Many of the people in my town and surrounding districts know him. I cried for my grandfather a lot more than I did for my father.
Like your grandpa, mine also would give me or bring home the food given to him. However, I wasn't the nicest kid. When my grampa was paralyzed and I had to take care of him I was impatient at times. And now that I recall those times I can't help but cry. I missed him badly.

me too....the last time i've seen him was last november......i just ignored his comments that he can't make it anymore until the next year (2007) and i told him his strong and till capable of things..then i just gave him some money then leave him some food to eat...then thats it...the next time i saw him was when he was in his coffin already.....

It's okay to miss your grandfather since the pain was still so fresh in your heart. But as time would pass, the pain would soon go away and the wound would soon be mended.
